Refund policy

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Visa Agent AI (visa-agent.ai), a product of Digital Space Ltd, Private Company. We've tried to keep it plain-language and predictable. If anything is unclear, email info@visa-agent.ai and we'll explain.

1. Merchant of record

We are the merchant of record for all purchases made through Visa Agent AI. Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf - Stripe handles payment collection and calculates applicable sales tax / GST / VAT at checkout, but the sale itself is with Digital Space Ltd, Private Company, not Stripe. Refunds approved under this policy are issued by us, via Stripe, back to your original payment method.

2. Free tier - nothing to refund

You can use the free tier of Visa Agent indefinitely without entering payment details. No money changes hands, so this policy doesn't apply to free use.

3. Refund window: 14 days from each PRO purchase

A fresh 14-day refund window opens with each successful PRO purchase - your initial purchase, and any later repurchase to extend or renew access. You can request a refund of a specific charge within 14 days of that charge being made. Charges older than 14 days are outside the policy window (though see section 9 on statutory rights for any consumer-law remedies that may still apply).

PRO is refundable in full within 14 days of the charge, regardless of usage. You can use the AI features, generate templates, and explore the product, and still request a refund of that charge if you decide it's not for you. We don't gate refund eligibility on what you've used during the period.

4. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first. We'd much rather refund you directly under this policy than fight a chargeback. Filing a chargeback with your bank without contacting us may result in your account being suspended pending resolution, and the disputed transaction being treated as contested rather than refunded. Once the dispute is resolved, we'll restore access or process a refund as appropriate.

5. Currency, taxes, and exchange rates

Prices are shown in USD and AUD on our pricing page; the price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Stripe Tax adds applicable sales tax / GST / VAT based on your billing location at checkout time. Refunds are issued in the same currency you were charged in. If your bank converted USD to a local currency at purchase time and again at refund time, small differences due to exchange-rate movement are not something we control or compensate for.

6. Account closure

If you delete your account, any remaining PRO access is forfeited immediately - access does not continue after deletion. If you delete within the 14-day window of your most recent PRO purchase, you can still request a refund under this policy. After 14 days, account deletion does not entitle you to a refund of already-charged amounts.

7. How to request a refund

Email info@visa-agent.ai with:

  • Your account email address.
  • The Stripe receipt or transaction number.
  • Which charge you'd like refunded (if you've had multiple).

We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

8. Disputes and escalation

If we decline a refund and you disagree, here's the path forward:

  1. Reply to our email with the reasoning. We'll have a second person on our team review your case.
  2. Australian Consumer Law avenues: if you're in Australia and we can't resolve the matter, you may contact your state or territory consumer affairs / fair trading office, or lodge a complaint with the ACCC.

9. Your statutory rights

This refund policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws, including the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). Where local consumer law provides rights or remedies that exceed those set out above, those rights and remedies apply. Specifically, the consumer guarantees - including that services be supplied with due care and skill, fit for any specified purpose, and within a reasonable time - cannot be excluded by this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email where practical. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
