Confused about 482 Visa Skills Assessment for Data Engineer with non-ICT degree

Hi everyone, I'm hoping to get some clarity on the 482 visa requirements, particularly regarding skills assessments. I graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree but have been working as a Data Engineer for the past four years. I'm currently in Australia on a 462 Working Holiday Visa, and my employer, who is an accredited sponsor, is keen to nominate me for a 482 visa. We're looking at occupations like ICT Business Analyst or Data Analyst. My main concern is that while the 482 Core Skills Stream typically requires only one year of relevant work experience, it seems the skills assessment for these ICT roles often asks for around five years of experience. I only have four years of experience in the Data Engineer field right now. So, I'm really confused about whether the skills assessment is the ultimate hurdle here. Is that 5-year experience requirement coming purely from the skills assessing body, rather than the 482 visa itself? And does having only four years automatically rule me out, or is there some flexibility in how Immigration assesses this?
